Our Story

Guard Tree Publishing took root in the expertise of our founder and Lead eLearning Development, Lora Rivera, whose passion in online education is to communicate clearly—in a way that drives action.

For the past five years developing online trainings at Ridgewood Interactive Communications, Lora has collaborated with diverse clients and partners to meet a host of challenges in the field of online education, and specifically in the areas of child care and child welfare. She and the Guard Tree Team have produced over 30 eLearning modules for clients in Colorado, Arizona, and beyond.

Whether it’s customer service, nonprofit board of directors or volunteer onboarding, or training for caseworkers in the fields of human trafficking, child welfare, domestic violence—or any other industry—Guard Tree eLearning stands at the gateway where knowledge meets real world practice.
